The Harvest Mission mobile team started work in 2001. The main purpose of
this ministry is to preach the gospel throughout North India,
plant churches wherever possible and also help new mission stations in their
outreach programs. The main activities of this team are literature distribution,
house visitation, open-air, and gospel meetings.
Apart from these outreaches, every Friday, the team fasts and prays for a mighty
outpouring of the Holy Spirit. North India is a stronghold of evil forces, so
only through fervent prayer can the team become effective soul winners for the
glory of the eternal kingdom. The team consists of four vibrant and committed
men ready to face any situation for the sake of the gospel.

The Ministry and its Success
|
The team started work in July of 2001 at Indirapuram in the Gaziabad District of
the state of Uttar Pradesh. Indirapuram is a newly developed town near Delhi,
populated mainly by Hindus, there was no Christian work of any kind in the area.
Brother Henry (leader) and his team chose Indirapuram as their starting point, after
much prayer and a clear guidance of the Holy Spirit.
And from the very beginning they experienced the power of God touching and changing
lives. They started a Sunday school and prayer fellowship and about 13 families and
a few other individuals regularly attend their meetings. Because of the good response,
missionary Kunjumon has been appointed to stay in Indirapuram and concentrate on the
work there.
From Indirapuram they moved to Noida one of the industrial areas in the state of UP. Our
mobile gospel team made a great impact on a local missionary Babu K. John who was
working among the Malayalam speaking communities in Noida and had never thought
about reaching the Hindi speaking majority. Our team focussed on the unreached
Hindi speaking locals and the Lord began to work in that area in amighty way. Now missionary
Babu K. John is giving more attention to these groups and working with a great passion.
Currently our team is working in Chandigarh, Punjab.
